16. My Gaura Is Here

My sister had arrived. She is like a part of me; my other half. And although I had not seen her in quite some time, her presence immediately lifted the turmoil and anguish in my heart. Her reassuring, gentle words, and just the sheer kookiness of the situation was surprising for all of us. We headed to the hospital at 5 AM.

Her Facebook post that morning:

I've made it here in Dallas. We are in the hospital now. My big sister Gopi Ben and Rupa prabhu's son, Vraju has brain surgery in a few minutes. We are praying for Sri Narsimhadev's protection. May Vraju come out successfully. May all disease leave his body. Thank you for your love ❤️ Please pray. 🙏
