Happy Friendships
In less than 12 hours, I will be surrounded by 40ish bhakti students learning empathy, collaboration and pure love, along with their Math, English, and social sciences. After two months of traveling from the East Coast to the West, talking to hundreds of parents and educators about everything I learn in our beautiful Dallas school, I'm so grateful and excited. Every day, I hear amazed parents and teachers whose lives are changing.
When I spoke to Kathryn on the Morning Family Show in Minnesota about how children can feel lost with their friendships, she immediately related. "Why are children so mean? One day my daughter's friend is her BFF. The next day, it's as if she doesn't even know her."
A mom shares how her 14 year old pauses with his food tray in the cafeteria. Which table will he sit at?
A dad shares how his loving 6 year old girl doesn't want to share with the other little girl in the room. Does he force her to?
Week after week I hear how across the country, we humans feel disconnected in our realities, unsure of where we all belong.
Because connection is a core need, when you or your dependants are disconnected, tasks become difficult. You may feel overwhelmed by the to-do's; you may have more arguments and defiance in your home; you may want to run away, quit, or not wake up.
Leadership Parenting has the answers. Developing ones sambandha -- connection space -- needs to be a priority. With simple strategies and the power of mantra, you can learn to fortify an internal immovable and fixed connection.
You will always feel that you matter... that you are seen... that you are here for a deep and important purpose. It creates happy friendships, where others are drawn to you. Because it's the basis of all the other needs, it reenergizes tasks, neutralizes defiance, turns bad grades into good ones, and steps you and your dependants into love, ease, and high productivity.
This fortified space grows to your children, your students, your team members. It is already happening... Don't miss out!
